BIG increase in institutional ownership! I think thats good news. Institutions were buying big time last week as individuals were selling.

Betsy, re 43.8%, looks like a misplaced decimal (by a factor of 100) for a purchase by Vanguard Group, 5,648,945 (MSN http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/invsub/ownership/ownership.asp?Symbol=IDCC) vs. 58,367 as reported on
http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/Holdings.asp?FormType=Institutional&Selected=IDCC&symbol=IDCC`&....

Hope MSN is correct, but I kinda doubt it...

There does appear to be one major new insitutional purchase reported through the MSN site though, but it's as of 3/31/03. John Mcstay Investment Counsel supposedly took a position of 500,000 shares, but I can't verify it.

Thanks for the heads-up, any glimmer of good news is much appreciated these days.
