I believe it is indeterminate if the SEPARATE licensing agreement is a PAID licensing agreement or not. It is possible that there is a licensing agreement in place that does not have a monetary value associated with it besides the SEPARATE lump sum payment. Or maybe it does.

One of the "except under limited conditions" may be when they have to state where the revenues cone from on eoy filing

Dint forget also. If there was a licensing deal then revenues would have shown it in the 10q from last October. That is not there.

Release and license agreement means that the court order released Microsoft from all future obligations as long as they paid Strickeforce one time in the amount of 10 million. Its a Release and license agreement for the settlement. It just means that Kay took 10 million and let Microsoft Continue to use its product with no future obligation
