So Biogen could have the priveledge of paying more! I do not agree and feel this makes little sense

IMHO, the $$$ number agreed on has little to do with the current stock price/Market Cap and much more to do with the HUGE return on "bio Jen's" investment down the road. If you think AVXL is really worth a measly $6/share then you should put your money elsewhere. No LONG here believes that number is the ceiling. Not even close.
