Sorry man, not sure where you are getting your information but as a pre seizure holder I got nothing! Finally for all the folks worried about "pre-seizure" WaMu shareholders, apparently they received a class action settlement. Granted it is not much, but it is $$$ they did receive

SR, I agree 100%! Both Preferred and Common are issued at a Par Value! To say one is more deserving than the other or one more deserving of the WaMu Estate is just flat out WRONG! 75/25 SPLIT BETWEEN THE TWO FOR WHATEVER COMES BACK NO MATTER HOW MUCH OR HOW LITTLE. ANYTHING ELSE AND PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW AND BE WARNED IT'S GOING TO BE LAWSUITS FROM NOW UNTIL DOOMSDAY! SPLIT IT UP FAIR AND SQUARE 75/25 OR KISS IT ALL GOODBYE. I WOULD SUE JUST OUT OF SPITE IF I FEEL I'M GOING TO GET RIPPED OFF AGAIN!!!

Sometimes wrong, "apparently they received a class action settlement. Granted it is not much, but it is $$$ they did receive." Did I miss something? I, member of your "they" did not receive a class action settlement nor $$$. "Apparently" but for sur factual, your assumption is wrong. Could it be that you're 75/25% division is wrong to?

Sometimes

Interesting as I received NO SUCH compensation and had 37,500 shares of WMAU common PRE.........
Now as to your take as far as ALL OF US IN THE SAME BOAT (75/25) all the way down the line ,I agree.
Many here WERE IMHO ""BAITED"" to dump commons and move to preferds,I for oen haave said several times I was preferds by my own choice and long before THE BAITING TOOK PLACE. Now if there was I as I think """BAITING"""to move out of commons and get teh P K H, it's going to be interesting to see how people here feel about the BAITERS proffesing to make the move and to see if any take action against them......To me it seems someone had an idea there may not be a 75/25 to the end ,but a cap on preferds.............

Yes the 75/25 and announced PRIOR giving people an OPTION and a """BAITING""" seem suspicious, and PRIOR giving all the formula before hand is very suspicious to say the least...........

The Preferreds would NOT have the rights to the majority of waterfall excess in any BK, if there are enough assets to reach commons. And through WMIIC and MBS income participation, there is.
