I guess I need to check this board more often because I missed the news on the second grant of $3.7 million to Mayo and TPIV from DOD. That's two grants totaling $17 million for TPIV vaccines in development. Why didn't TapImmune PR this second grant? The article states part of the money goes directy to TPIV. That is very good news. This is wonderful news. It's exactly when the vaccine should be tried. Surgery releases cells, and if the patients are on a vaccine that has the immune system on alert to recognize and capture the cells then many of these patients will not progress to later stage disease. HER2 is a very common antigen, involved in many cancers; and so to build immune memory to eradicate the protein could stop other cancers from starting as well.
