However, my assertion is that once randomized, at the first scan showing progression, the patient is deemed a progression event and crosses over to DCVax.
RKMatters asserts they will deny the progression event at the first scan showing progression (refusing cross-over access) and wait for confirmation at the next scan. If the next scan shows continued progression the patient crosses and progression is back dated to the first scan. Alternatively, if the next scan shows stable or better the patient stays on his assigned treatment arm (DCVax or Placebo) and the earlier progression event is not deemed an event.
