The "data" on OTCSHORTREPORT is the short VOLUME data that FINRA publishes daily. It is not short INTEREST.
The short VOLUME data is meaningless in the OTC. I could go into a detailed explanation as to why, but no one can determine or even estimate the amount of open short positions created....which for OTC issues is usually ZERO 99.9...% of the time. And it doesn't matter if the short VOLUME % is 1% or 100%.
It is nothing more than a mark of ownership on the first leg of a transaction...almost all of which are long transactions.
That "data" is the most misunderstood and misrepresented information in the penny world.
Im inclined to agree with the bulk of your assessment, personally i think its a company run by bimbos who like to run around Hawaii in a big van high as a kite on pot brownies and maybe with a little luck they'll get high enough to forget to dilute sometime next month or so and let this run up a bit so i can make enough to buy my own brownies, and i could care less about lectures or classes on tenkays interpretation of shorting. He most likely knows better than anyone what it means to be short. Good luck !
