Press release of April 8, 2003:
Wave Systems Joins Trusted Computing Group To Accelerate Adoption of Open, Trusted Systems
Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: WAVX – www.wave.com), a leader in delivering trusted
computing applications and services with advanced products, infrastructure and
solutions across multiple trusted platforms, today announced it has been invited
to join the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), a new industry group dedicated to
embedding trust and security more broadly into computing platforms and devices.
The TCG will work to create open standards that can be adopted for use in products
and solutions across the spectrum of computing, including PCs, PDAs, servers and
digital phones, to enable secure and trusted computing that can protect data,
privacy, and individual rights.

Trusted "Wave" Services for TCPA enabled PC's
"..In 1999, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel and Microsoft established the
Trusted Computing Platform Alliance (TCPA)in an effort to define and promote the
goal of trustworthy computing. Today, the Alliance has over 170 member companies,
from various technology sectors, working together to make trusted computing a reality.
Through their efforts, this working group has defined a device known as the Trusted
Platform Module (TPM). The role of a TPM is to offer protected storage, platform
authentication, protected cryptographic processes and attestable state capabilities
to provide the first level of trust, for the computing platform. The foundation of
this trust is the certification by a recognized authority that the platform can be
trusted for an intended purpose. Stated another way, someone whom the challenger
trusts says with conviction that a platform ’s state is exactly what it says it is
and is therefore trustworthy.

Wave has developed a comprehensive suite of services and trust infrastructure
that enable TCPA TPM's
. These solutions extend the value of trusted clients
with benefits for enterprise users, IT departments and consumers. The systems
architecture for enabling these security devices uses the EMBASSY Trust System
(ETS). The ETS provides the necessary bridging and enabling technologies to
support the evolution of both TCPA and Microsoft trusted computing efforts

#3440 RE: greg s #3428

greg_s,

Sorry, you feel this way:

"Both Zeev and I were met with derision and ridicule."

However, maybe you should go back and read your own posts. The two of you came on the board with an arrogant and all knowing attitude. As if none of the long term investors in Wave had any idea what they were doing and you would determine if the investment passes muster for everyone. And you still have that attitude ("You might learn something"). Fact is you've been cut a lot of slack.

Welcome to the WAVX board.
