ric Christy was something ..2.13 era and 67 % winning % Some don't recollect the Babe was a pretty nice chucker himself. I think Whitey Ford broke his world Series record for 0000000's in a row. I think Whitey may still hold that record..and ,LOL who can forget the Roseboro fiasco... Here's an old thought. Not sure I would concur today but I use to think the best starting 4 of all time was in Cleveland during 50's Wynn , Feller, Lemon..and the other excapes me right now but all were 20 game winners in 54 I think..or I am imbellishing..I should be excused though if I am as these boards and these stocks are fodder for story of the year awards daily. Thats for another board though.you have a fab 4 on the mound you care to match up with that group. Baltimore came close with Palmer Cuelllar that group..throw it at me.
