I'm not the one with the old protocol, but simply under blinding rules, there is no reason why subgroups can't be followed. Researchers would simply still be blinded to randomization.

So, let's take the subgroup least likely to respond to DCVax-L according to Dr. Liau -- aka: mutant type IDH1 -- aka: proneural. If memory serves.

Let's say they have median OS of 23 months and PFS median 11 months. Dr. Liau will still need to wait and see how this breaks down after unblinding. IMHO.
