The major problem with the 2016 California proposition that legalized marijuana is that the regulations will absolutely drive small and medium producers and sellers ~OUTT of the market. And the price of cannabis products will no doubt rise and rise as the industry becomes dominated by a few large players - who will lobby for more and more regulation.

Also, as the large companies take over production and distribution of cannabis, the large diverse choice of strains will disappear as what is offered on the market becomes homogenized.

The small dispensaries will evaporate. The medical customer will bear the brunt of this as the cannabis market will conform to the pharmaceutical model.

I can't disagree. Corporate America quite often speaks from both sides of the mouth.

Reefer is a weed for all practical purpose. People have been growing it for decades in the good old USA.

I haven't perused a copy of High Times magazine in a long time. It obviously has an online version. I wonder what the advertisements are like.

I could set up a greenhouse on the property on N. Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte where I raise fruits and veggies for reefer propagation, and nobody would know the difference.

When I gaze out at the high end apartment towers to the south I often wonder how many people are growing reefer.

American Beauty Garden Center, now on Independence Blvd., has demonstration units for growing plants indoors (chuckle). Scott's Miracle Gro has invested in companies that supply the necessaries for indoor propagation.
