I believe the open bidding process ends March 1. It's correct, the company is probably in a silent period as earnings are due in the next few weeks and they will not give updates as to anybody bidding on the company. The latest 13G filing is more window dressing in the sale process to let the investment community know that Broadfin has been paid in full and has no claim to any owed monies like when you sell a car or house. You are verifying that nobody has a claim to the property and that it is a free and clear title/deed. Market makes will be scrambling shortly as they have 1.4 million shares to buyback and nobody is selling. With little interest in buying they can manipulate and drop the price at will.
