Did anyone answer you? One thing to try is clean out all cache's and temp folders.
Then go to Adobes site itself and look for recent updates.
NEVER NEVER go to a 3rd party website to download any drivers or add ons. Did I mention NEVER?
Always use the actual product site. And when it states an update is available, look for and always use custom installs. Custom installs allows you to choose locations for the program as well as stopping, for the most part, the auto installing of browser searchbar junk and malware that you don't see if you choose 'easy' install. Also, look for and select the 'remove old software' suggestion if offered.
Even CNet, which tons of people use, is just a reseller and has malware and assorted crap. On their disclaimer they state they have no liability for any file you download.
No one on the internet with a .com is there for your benefit.
