I believe personally that you have hit the nail on the head.
I think the deal with the H class shares was done with knowlkedge of the impending deals and announcements, expecting the share price and market to react, and ultimately, preserving the value of the stock in the long term without dilution.
It was a shrewd move, possibly an educated gamble at the time, but now appears to have been an absolute coup, imo.
I can now see why this may well have been the best possible financing deal period.
Amazing how hindsight is always perfect vision isn't it?
Like you though, let's give the management team credit fot this foresight. An outstanding job!
