That is pure BS. GTE, just like every other company has not only the right to but the responsibility/necessity to release any and all "material" news/information relevant to the shareholders and the public.
cookie01810, again, show me (FACTUALLY) where the AMEX, in any way, has prohibited GTE from releasing legitimate FACTUAL information -- you cannot do so.
Now, cookie01810, let me ask you a question. As a shareholder, what, if anything do you find untrue in the following statement:
"If the only way a company can communicate to it's shareholders and the public is through subtle attempts then there is something wrong . . ."
