After: WMB Bond Holders, FDIC Restricted and Unrestricted Claims

And Yes, I like the 75%/25% with POR 7 that over-rode the APR..I know some folks here who hold ONLY the Commons want that to go away NOW AFTER the FACT and want APR to be re-instated so that they may get the BULK of the 'forecasted' recoveries because I want to be Fair to everyone based on what was agreed upon when no one here was aware of what the recoveries could be rather than trying to re-write the agreement driven by a greed-driven motive/agenda...

And it is a FACT that many here were pressurized by, perhaps some of them with Inside TRack, to SELL OFF their Commons and Buy Preferreds instead... the pressure was relentless, perhaps their motive was to accumulate all the Commons for themselves ON THE CHEAP from those who got scared and switched to Preferreds by Dumping their Commons... I too dumped some Commons and bought more Preferreds but luckily didn't Bow to that Pressure and trade away all my Commons, instead I bought most of my Preferreds with new Funds.

muyuan, Well said!

Common was generously ALLOWED to share the spoils.

BUT, they were surely not given the bulk of the spoils.

The group that let them in, kept the larger portion.

This leads me to believe that commons found it likely that returns for tranche 6 would be less than $7B when the negotiations for the 7th ammended plan were ongoing.
Why would common have used the releases as hostage for a piece of the preferred's waterfall unless they were convinced of returns in the single digit billions? Even the 32-8 scenario would generate nearly 3X face value.
Hey!, at $7 bil commons is still looking at ~$1 per...right?G

M51, DrR, LG, HotM and others, thanks for finally clearing up this Preferred and Common Escrow Share Marker Issue. The manner in which all of you explained this was the way I personally thought, and hoped, it was to unfold. Cheers! ...

75/25 upcapped split for both ...

Now all we have to do is what we've all learned to do so well ....... wait.
