About the ticker change, shareholders will be notified in advance and the change will be automatic with your broker on the effective date. Number of shares remain the same.
A divi with a spin-off (Total Vapor) is different -- there will be new shares issued in the spin-off (typically 1:1). In this case shareholders will get the plan in advance and be provided with an ex-divi date that you have to be recorded as a shareholder of VPOR in order to be issued new shares of the spin-off.
