If stocks go down, will commodities go up? If the economy sours, I can see lumber, copper, and other commodities fall, but as a group I see them rising. My thoughts are not always right :-(

If you ranked each ten-year period, the Dow did by far the best from 1987 to 1997. From 1997 to 2007 it was second best.

From 2007 to 2017 the market had it's slowest 10 year rise of the last three ten-year periods.
