Yeah On_in_2, I've gotten into chocking up expensive, beautiful wood stock of late and messing it all up. Recent welds resulted in a BIGGER THE GLOB THE BETTER THE JOB kind of result.
Then as you note, I gotta sweep up all the material I made waste of:).
