If by the word "tumor" you mean cancer then there is a good possibility V will at least improve your chances of avoiding cancer and retarding its growth...
There is just so much being learned about cancer lately by scientists doing amazing studies on molecular biology and cell physiology...Among the most amazing thing we are learning is that cancer possesses what can only be described as intelligence and purpose..Cancer can not survive by simply moving into the area and pushing the normal cells out of its way..Cancer must overcome some very tough obstacles...First of all it needs a blood supply to maintain its metabolism (cancer loves fat) and carry off the waste products...To get that blood supply it needs to recruit endothelial cell and change their DNA to get them to work for the cancer (think about that). It also has to deal effectively with the hosts immune and inflammatory systems..Again this can only be accomplished by changing the hosts DNA..Then it must kill the hosts local cells by reprogramming them to kill themselves..
So one of our problems is the cancer may be smarter than we are at the present time..Clearly however we do know that EPA tends to improve the host's chances where as omega 6s like arachidonic acid tend to increase inflammation and potentiate cancers...
