A lot of talk in front of and behind the scenes coming from D.C. IP think tanks and laws firms surmising who will be the next head of the PTO and what might happen.
This last AIA legislation and PTAB IPR thing has so f'd up the IP process in this country it's a joke at this point. Everyone seems to be passing the buck cause they know how it's just become a laughing stock. It might be easiest just to hit the reset button at this point (imo).
As long as you have an active case you are subject to what might be coming down the pipe and that is what our appeal sets us up for. I think for those cases that have been finalized through appeal and are done then they are just out of luck, but if you are alive then that could bode very well for you going forward. Time delay at this point is on our side.
