Yep, plus since I went so long without diagnosis/treatment my odds of success even with a second treatment are low. They also have a freeze technique now as well as the burn, neither of which are permanent, so I'll opt for the Watchman when the time comes, hopefully soon.

Tomorrow and tues. is about switching me off nadalol to sotalol with a high degree of I'll need to be shocked as my heart will likely stop at least once - thus the overnight for observation. My device check last week showed I'm in afib 94% of the time which is classified as "permanent". This is all a preliminary dance due to insurance requirements based on a "HATCH" test score.

My real goal is to get off warfarin onto maybe Eliquis or something more 21st century, I'm sick to death of going in weekly for INR draws.

None of this worries or bothers me in the least...never has. as I told someone earlier it's the over night stay being hooked up that gets on my last nerve, I'm a terrible patient, very restless. I tried my best to get them to let me come in at 3 or 4 a:m and be released later the same day...no deal lol

Everyone should make sure they're checked as it's becoming very common, probably because it's been overlooked for so long plus there are still many unknowns. Many also ignore signs as in 'stubborn male shit syndrome', but I don't know anyone like that.
