Wow, what an amazing setup of living off the water grid!

We once had a New Jersey farmer on this board; she and her family moved to Kentucky. As I recall, she purchased an old farm house with a large cistern.

Here is my small alternative to my watering needs.

I just have seven 55-gallon water barrels, but I had to buy a hose last summer to refill the barrels with municipal water due to the drought.
