No i did not miss this point, i am usually quite thorough in reading. However as this is extremely encouraging, i remain vigilante on the fact as to what many continue to scream about larger trial sizes and blind placebo studies run in parallel to silence our critics and detractors. I believe in what we have and i do not doubt the results that this group of patients have exhibited. If they are saying that cognitive function has been maintained over a stretch of 15 months then you know why patients and caregiver's have begged for an extension. Quite simply because it's working and there is nothing else out there that has shown such efficacy in a drug trial for Alzheimer's.
