One hour film school is irrelevant. It's Grod's new business and he can hype himself however he wants, it's not going to sell shares here at MHYS. He'll claim success wherever he can. The results speak for themselves. The movies were flops.
As to your allegations that he schooled the Kramers. Please educate yourself.
"dismissal with prejudice" would forbid a party from refiling the case, and might occur either because of misconduct on the part of the party who filed the claim or criminal complaint or could be the result of an out of court agreement or settlement"
We know there was a settlement to the case and the Kramers can't reopen it. What you or anyone else don't know is the results of the settlement. This isn't a win for Grod.
A MUST READ. GO MHY$$$$$$$! Here's another interesting quote... Quote:
Having produced more than 50 movies, I have a pretty good idea on what it takes to succeed. To say I’ve seen it all would probably be an understatement. Along with my extensive body of work, I’ve taught graduate level courses in producing and been an oral panelist grading the Masters Thesis in producing (The Peter Stark Program) at USC for the past 25 years. I’ve taught lawyers how to draft contracts, writers how to pitch their material and structure their scripts, directors on where to put the camera and producers on how to finance their films.
I don’t offer general courses in any one subject: instead I provide specific answers you need now to get your career or project on the right path. Early on I was taught to know everyone’s job better than they know it themselves. I’ve spent a career adhering to this mantra. Someone once said to me during a very complicated negotiation, “Thank God you have you on your side.” They said this because I knew what was essential to close the deal from both sides. My insight and understanding comes from decades of experience and working in the business today.
