based on just 7 patients results at 31 weeks in an early, exploratory Ph 2A trial outside the USA that lacks a placebo control?

Says it all right there, for now. This is science, not hope. It requires data, not assumptions.

Thank YOU Blu1 for reminding everyone of my great prognostications regarding the success of Monotherapy to be confirmed at CTAD! I will not suspend my ability to reason because the good Dr has taken advantage of an adaptive trial design in HOW he labels the Data Reported.
There is nothing easy about stopping and reversing Alzheimer's after 1 year, whether N=1 or N=7 or N=100% of 25(MY Current Hypothesis).
The Placebo Control at this point is just Human Cruelty for ALzheiemrs Sufferers. I beg the good Dr and Australia to not make Phase 3 Patients suffer a year of Placebo when we KNOW that Anavex works to reverse the Symptoms of Alzheiemrs.
Yes I do expect EVERYONE to get excited becasue it's not just 7 Patients or 6 Patients it is 25 Patients ALL getting better on MonoTherapy-IMO.
How do I come to such a conclusion? there has NEVER been a Drug to STOP Alzheimers or reverse it's symptoms at 1 Year. NEVER.
SO from 52 Weeks to 57 Weeks the Average Responders went from a 15.9 MMSE to a 16.9 MMSE..How is this posseible? Placebo Effect? Alzheiemrs is simply too brutal to have Placebo effect at one year. It does not happen. Placebo Effect does not lift the fog at one year.
How does the average score of the remaining 19 Patients(non-super responders) go up after one year? MONOTHERAPY! IMO.
That's it. When all other possiblitiies do not exist than the only remaining possiblitiy bust be fact.
Monotherapy with A2-73 stops and even reverses Alzheimers Symptoms.IMO.
Period. this being the case, A2-73 should be made immediately availabel as soon as supply may be safely created and readied for distribution.
Someone will want to be THE NEWS SOURCE in America that BROKE THE STORY of ANAVEX! Who will it be? I want it to be St. Louis's own The Gateway Pundit..we shall see!
