TODAY...re.NOTHING new
Halpern was obviously angry....they just entered the ball game at higher levels ... and got smacked down...somebody's getting flack for that...unfortunately that doesn't change the negative impact that their announcement had on the stock TODAY.

We have waited a long time for resolutions to old problems to take hold....this issue will have to be resolved to IDCC'S BENEFIT..No doubt IDCC knows there future depends on a positive outcome. They have been publicly unequivocal about their understanding as to Nokias obligation and the defining trigger event. It is beyond my comprehension that all of IDCC executives would be so blatant not only in their announcements of the triggering event but also in the monetary outcome. This was clear guidance. I also find it impossible to believe that in light of these blatant announcements they would risk selling shares if they felt their position wasn't tight.
The exposure was just to great. It is for this reason I believe they will prevail. They have much more to loose then Nokia...and they know it.

As for me I am reviewing in depth the statements and general activity that took place prior to Nokia recent action. I have a number of gut reactions to Nokia .....non are particularly pleasant...as to Idcc management....I am still doing some homework...UNTIL then my position remains as stated above.

TODAY...

The knee jerk reaction this afternoon ... was no different then the other day when IDCC announced Nokias request for documents and Nokia requested a hold up on arbitration. It is a fact of the market. I understand the disgust of some of the old soldiers who did not anticipate Nokia action They have had to battle through these moments before ...I certainly find no joy in this moment of weakness....as on paper it effects me as much as every member on this board and investor. There are many new players here who recently bought in the 20's including myself. They will have to wait as many old longs have in the past. The difference is ... there is a contract...Nokia has not disavowed the fact that they owe money...the question is did the ericy settlement indeed set the parameters for that event as they stated.

I have chosen not to sell into this weakness....I judge no one for doing so...I am waiting to see IDCC'S response/counterclaim....if it is strong and clear so goes the stock...if it is weak ...so goes IDCC.

My best to alll....Alley
