I made the mistake of hiring a guy like this once. However, it only took us 6 months to deal with it, not 6 years. The marketing/sales guy should never be the money guy. I never met a CFO that could sell. You have to sell it first. You sell the tech to the right guy/company the rest will fall into place, if the value is really their.

Thanks for the history lesson, but it's to late I already brought in.
