It matters, for one thing, because the company has no revenue source other than dilution so a lower share price means more shares must be issued to keep the doors open. Your interests are affected by more shares being issued. An announcement that KMI was actually paying on the lease and not hitting the road like TC would be enormously helpful to stabilize the SP in my view. The shifty 8K about the unknown Canadian Oil Company is just a diversion. No NDA prohibits a six-month update on the KMI situation. The market appears to assume the deal is off anyhow, as we can't even stay above .10.
