Nah, LA, SF, SJ, Sac, SEA, DEN, and other large cities have nowhere near the level of corruption of the Northeast and Chicago - nott within order(s) of magnitude.

However, Miami, which has historically had a bit of Mafia influence (and SF used to be highly Mafioso back in the '30s thru '60s) seems to have escaped the level of mass corruption that infests the Northeast and Chicago.

I unnerstan that Boston has been plagued by a medium-level of corruption, butt nothing like NY, NJ, IL, RI. Maybe when Whitey Bulgar skipped town they cleaned the windows ...
