Interesting... the original 2a trial mentioned other drugs in the "purpose" section.

From clinicaltrials.gov:

"Purpose
...and to explore the relationship of ANAVEX2-73 as add-on therapy to AD standard of care."

Sounds like they did drop the idea of dual therapy...
