If he isn't careful our country and our environment will look like a Chinese city

If you are so interested in China's environment, don't buy anything made in China. Oops. That doesn't work, does it?

Coal is not our enemy, it's our friend. Coal miners are fellow citizens and neighbors, not enemies. It is stupid to look at coal as some kind of evil.

Yes, I want our government to embrace ANY industry that creates American jobs, including your pet clean energy projects when worthy. We do a damn good job of keeping things clean compared to other countries.

Imagine buying products that are made in your community instead of having to be shipped by smog producing vessels and vehicles half way around the world. Jobs, commerce, American wealth, and less pollution. What's not to like?

By the way, every job is temporary.

We can do a lot better than silly comments like you just made.

If he isn't careful our country and our environment will look like a Chinese city... full of toxic smog and pollution

That's fear mongering. Do you actually believe that Trump will put America on the road to being like China?

pipeline building (which is a temporary job).

True. But pipeline operation and maintenance last for the life time of the pipeline.

For some strange reason I get the feeling that when Enviro Loons talk about renewable energy jobs, they include the temporary jobs that come with building the damn things.

Anecdotal Renewable Energy story.

The wind turbine farms. that now surround me, started up this Thursday. Yesterday morning they were all still. I figured that Thursday was just a day of testing. Nope.

About noon they started turning. The wind had picked up. It wasn't calm on Friday morning. There was a gentle breeze.

Up Date. This morning there is a light rain and a gentle breeze. The wind turbines are still, again.

Meanwhile our gas fired generating stating keep on turn'n. Our electric lights keep on burn'n.

If solar is so great why did Solyndra
go out of business? And why do wind companies need to be subsidized? And if we don't mine coal how will we be able make the steel and concrete to construct those industries?
