Wow - that is some confidence

With 32 patients - somewhat positive results - expecting approval of Alz drug without doing another large study is somewhat of a stretch.

We even do not know when p3 will start - it could be end of Q1 to enroll 1st patient and then 6+ months results for all patients

(Look at ACAD for recent approval of another CNS drug to get idea of timeline)

Whiskey...you say "2-10 yrs"---that is a big stretch--I agree with Xena here--should not-will not take that long--safety profile has been shown--efficacy will be shown to be positive--the need is so great--Fda will not be dragging their feet here--the process is coming to a head and sooner rather than later !!!!!

A blended family is exactly what I might expect with Dr. Missling continuing to shepherd his and Skarpelos's "Division" ?
I have been trying to interpret the reason for the addition of the wording regarding Dr. Missling's options which stated
"ON A CHANGE OF CONTROL ALL PREVIOUSLY GRANTED BUT UNVESTED OPTIONS SHALL VEST"

Agree - the need is real and urgent for getting a AD drug that is really effective.

The only way it can be approved in record time is if the results are STELLAR and FDA gives its blessing to expedite the trial and stops the trial mid way when there is enough data that gives them certain confidence and then FDA gives some sort of approval where there will be a need to monitor patients' progress. I do not remember the exact protocol, but am aware that it has been done with a couple of companies in the past 5 years.


Missling as CEO of Boigen - yes it is a stretch, a long shot even if the results are really good; I would not complain if they offer him the CEO position ANDagree to Buyout AVXL with a 1:1 share swap of Biogen with AVXL.
