IS that 24% per month, day, year? Also, how do you find out if Fidelity will offer you this? I dont bother logging onto my account since I know I wont be selling AVXL today. However, I wouldnt mind 24% on my shares.

It angers me that shorting is even allowed. Mostly, it just extracts $ from avg investors and enriches professional traders and hedge funds. it does far more harm than good imho. Many countries ban it, Germany I think. It also too easily exploited by manipulators to manipulate stock prices.

Hey, let him(Adam f) talk, let him take side. The sides he has chosen have not brought anything so far Just watch him bash.. Smart people always are cautious because they know they can be wrong so, they leave themselves with some wiggling room, edge their bets. His arrogance speaks volume of his lack of intelligence..

Every thing AF says below, is basically true. The results produced by AVXL, to this point, can not be trusted, without much further confirmation. He is not involved in some vast conspiracy to short the stock, just speaking the truth.

Bad clinical trials produce bad data, and Anavex is conducting a garbage study.

The only way to produce credible data in Alzheimer's is to conduct randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies. One group of patients is randomized to receive a drug, the other group of patients received a placebo. Neither the patients nor their doctors know which arm of the study they're in. These studies need to run for at least one year because it takes that long to detect meaningful changes in memory, cognition and functions of daily living of patients.
