Even though this is a solid 4-5 cent stock, the Apple IPR had different prior art than UP IPR. So allowing the IPR was based on that. The potential for another price pump has gone up dramatically. That is exciting

Yes hard to make a decision based on a ipr and then reverse it on the second one. Definitely smells fishy here. Maybe they have a stock position, history .this does not see to be a impartial decesion at all.

Well, I can only imagine how excited Unified Patents (AT&T & Verizon) are right now! They must be dancing in the streets holding hands with Apple ....for now. Let's see in 2 1/2 months, if they're still dancing. IMHO

Or....
The UP rejection simply is the result of UP not putting a good case together against the patents. In the same sense as the patents being awarded by the USPTO doesn't lend any need or value to them, neither does the rejection necessarily do so.
The bottom line is the market knows what it want & what it likes & so far, including ALL the hype, ALL the promises, ALL the "uspto activity"& ALL the maneuvering.....<sigh> vplm continues it long & steady decline in pps. 2 of the biggest & best news events, the filing of lawsuits against the big dogs, and the rejection of UP IPR (among other very positive news events) had little to no effect on the market price, because apparently, no one anywhere or in any capacity, sees any value to the patents (except the blind faithers). The market does indeed KNOW (given time to digest) because it includes and is a reflection of, all the knowledge & sentiment out there. That is WHY there IS a market. Apparently, only those w/a VESTED INTEREST in positive sentiment, keep cheerleading, while no one else sees real goodies w/real value. The UP rejection could've been seen as a BIG positive plus, but, when followed by the apple acceptance, is kind of a canceling out...at least until such time as there is some change in that decision. The 2 opposite decisions, by the same agency about the same claims, make little sense and cancel ea other out, whether you agree w/that fact or not. Before the UP rejection, I said a rejection would be huge & a game changer, but I also predicted something strange would come before or along with, the UP decision. And that's exactly what happened, ie, the rejection followed right up by the apple acceptance. After the rejection, it was assured here that a same but slightly weaker Apple case would be an easy & assured rejection also... but it unexpectedly wasn't. I knew (believed) something like that would occur and I posted the reasoning behind it, that being the way things have gone, the pattern, the history of almost all, if not all of vplm's previous milestone events. There is a strong fishiness to every significant event in vplm history. You can run but can't hide from that fact. Interesting also, is that no one cared to cast a vote or opinion as to the question I threw out, asking if Malak or other bod members have sold, traded or backdoor benefitted from the stock on a prsnl level. It is definitely a valid question.
Yay, Vplm... rah, rah, rah...sis, boom, bah.... GOOOOOOO VP!
