I guess that waiting for an announcement is a bit like that! The decision on the land swap has been a long time coming and anticipation has waxed and waned for the year plus that it has taken so far. However, I might have been unkind to the Forest Service, in thinking that they were sitting on the final ROD decision. My information now has it that the delay is down to continued discussions with the Bands, despite the fact that tribal governments have been official co-operating agencies since 2005, and that the Army Corps of Engineers was supposed to have squared away any objections with palliatives such as an increase in tribal acreage under the swap agreement. If we look again at Post 5131, kindly supplied by Z-Axis, we can see that there is a long and familiar road ahead. More reviews, reviews of reviews, more public comment periods, reviews of reviews of public objections etc etc. So, yes, Chinese and any other sort of torture you can think of. If you find that too distracting, you can always look at the blatant share manipulation, which has become a feature of daily life for PLM pps watchers.
