Tommy boy was never serious about doing the real work required. How many millions of dollars of shareholder funds were flushed, how many years were wasted and how many broken relationships were there before the decision was finally made to create an in-house manufacturing capability?
The technology had to be proven before customers would risk their own cash and reputations. To this day, we still have not seen a successful, large contract with thousands or tens of thousands of pieces. Let's hope Mr. Li is able to prove once and for all that the technology is viable.
