Who does Apple have for manufacturing? I don't believe they have anyone. Li made the Turing phone to prove to Apple he could produce a phone and that his alloy is a viable option. To this point we have found no info to support lqmt's alloy as being iphone production ready. That's why Li changed the name of his BMG. Apple is having problems with China and patent protection. Li gives both lqmt and Apple CIP protection in China.
If u believe the reports the first lqmt phone released by Apple will be very expensive. I think that Li's ability to produce a lqmt phone and sell it is why Apple will renegotiate. He can make the low cost iPhone very cheaply and Apple with less machines can make the high end limited iphone
