"Also disappointed that they didn't know the system would max considering that's where the growth and profit was highlighted by Huff".

...Good morning, all...

...this is simply another example from us dissatisfied longs who do not believe that Mr. Huff should be at the helm...where is the foresight here?...

...too many missed deadlines and / or objectives, not enough closed contracts, and an apparent lack of focus have brought this company to the doorstep of delisting...

...IMO, Mr. Huff should be replaced as CEO, but retained for his technolgical expertise...

...I do hope that my "opinions" haven't upset anyone...

Frank,

If I read between the lines on the Centerline computer being Maxed out, Huff "IMO" knew that was the case, but has to listen to his IT people what they say more harm than good could be done if we don't TEST the new system first. The good sign that I see, is that they are doing it right. As far as the financials, I like what I see. Not great, Not Bad, the BOD has Huff on a very short rope and things are moving along. This is the first real sign of stability for GTE. It will only get better as time goes along.

Justfrank, agree 100% (incl life and 10Q). I would add one add’l note to your CenterLine comment:

From 8/14 NR: “The new software required a 60-day testing and implementation period that is now complete.” Nice. Thanks for the heads up at the 6/21 SH meeting. (or--nice way to dodge the obvious questions noted in Frank’s post also).

Speaking of SH meeting, Huff said we would be informed “in a few weeks” regarding the Magic Money rollout in India. Still waiting.

An e-mail update would be nice (per the updated GTE website: Investor FAQ):
Q. Why does some of your news go out as updates and others as press releases?
A. Some news is not material but still meaningful to those who care about GlobeTel. We've decided rather than not release anything at all, we would make updates available to those on our opt-in email list and those who look at our website. Most of the news suitable for updates involve the achievement of non-material milestones or progress or accomplishments within our divisions.
