I'm overjoyed to find we are in complete agreement on many truly important items pertaining to our national agenda. I love my life and feel very connected, operating in a business-oriented world. This is what I'd envisioned through Trump election but now, seeing things begin to unfold, I'm growing more excited all the time.
With $11,000 margin utilization in play, I will probably divest myself of a couple of picks---but not those you mention as we both see their merits. At the same time, for my own sense of well-being, I'll need to come to terms with my best buddy---ME! He wants me to get us out from under debt. lol
At the same time, getting ALDW earlier this morning at prices beneath $8.90 was a bit of icing on the cake as it enabled me to reach the 22,000 unit position I'd wanted for a long time. So if I have to unload a couple of picks, it will be in the spirit of further repositioning and refining overall portfolio selection.
You've got a great cost basis here, I'm proud to recognize. It takes courage for one as young as you are, my son. But you've stuck your neck out and it's going to pay off next week, I think, when folks have settled in to a new reality. That's when the serious price acceleration begins to show itself. For now, I'm gratified in seeing that we're nearly back to yesterday's closing price after having dropped thirty cents below the current price.
Seeing the valuation rise tells us the manipulation isn't continuing to operate as planned. It's always reassuring to find a pick we've strongly committed to hasn't dropped the ball, it's merely the way the market works as it slogs its way through a lot of emotional head play we retailers have to experience.
So what this means is that ALDW is going to continue along its path and no amount of manipulation is going to derail us. We are in motion and we might not even give back the week's gains. Now, wouldn't that be incredible to close nicely today?
Question: What is the dollar denominated gain tax-wise that has your attention? Just a round-about dollar amount will do. Are we talking about $50? More? Less?
