i worked in perishables as a wholesaler for close to 10 years. I worked with snack foods and dairy. Most likely this is a result of walmart mishandling the product and not a production issue.

And it's only one box. If it were a factory issue there would be whole lot numbers which translates into hundreds-thousands.
