It is only my personal opinion, that the SEC is well aware of manipulation in the pinks/greys and profit from it somewhere along the line.

Anyone who has ever studied for Series 7 or 66 will tell you that the pink market is no more than one line in the hundreds of pages of text. Simply one fast definition, and nothing more. Brokers aren't trained to discuss pinks. Period.

Considering there is minimal costs associated with being pink, means that fewer folks are actually paid to regulate it.

Why should they require legit filings if nobody in our government wants to spend time pouring over it?

The saddest part, is that pink status, which was one time a very good opportunity for the small business guy to start the ball rolling, has turned into a very frightening market that has lost so many investors due to it's volatility and lack of substance, not to mention it's unconditional invitation to scam artists.
