I actually like Musk's approach to technologies, but his risk taking, especially bailing out Solar City, is not always in shareholders interest.
He bailed out Solar City, not because it was in Tesla shareholders interest, but because he stood to loose his investment in SCTY.
Space X also had monies invested in SCTY.
Solar tiles arent new, Solar City isnt first.
... but Musk does a great job of selling, sometimes of overselling.
Tesla, love the car, hate what Musk is doing as far as a
business plan.
