Not a shock, but if the mets mess this up it is gonna be devastating. It is not acceptable to not have this guy signed, to put in perspective how important this guy in just look at the mets record the 5 weeks he was injured and on the dl, granted a bunch of players went there the same time, they started winning again as soon as he came back. Last year they were going nowhere before he was traded for. If they don't sign him they can have all the pitching in the world, it won't help them if they can't score.
