Or the Gov't is paying him to do it because he has standing and this move allows them to attempt to attain a further delay in Sweeney's court which is quickly unraveling.

Also - didn't Judge Sweeney already tell Mr. Sammons to get lost once about some other issue and now he's back doing more procedural delay attempts?

Given that his 'issues' only arose when the gov't was finally losing it is HIGHLY suspect that Mr. Sammons is indeed acting independently as Mr. Yank is asserting here.

I wouldn't put it past Judge Sweeney to see it the same way and label 'Mr. Sammons' manuvers as another delay tactic - because that sounds like what it is!

Funny how Mr. Yank is able to explain the ends and the means and only thinly veil Mr. Sammons' maneuver as a self interested act.

I, for one, call shenanigans on that move. Hopefully the courts do as well.
