All the more support to my contention that MAXD is attempting to sell audio snake-oil.

Clearly it wasn't working; MAXD still has exactly $0 in revenues (despite promises they'd be earning licensing fees from phones shipped in summer of 2015)

Unfortunately, desperate investors are in denial that they were tricked.
