Sold/spun off by LMT to stay afloat, the tech is a dead end, expensive with limited durability, heat and wear degrade the coating very fast.

I would like to hear more about this myself. Take note that on the contact page it says R&D is located in Lake Forest. This is where Liquidmetal was located before they moved to RSM.
