That, of course, is the larger concern. At times it seems as if the entire operation (and responsibities) have been outsourced to others. I am not arguing that Randall or Reiza need to leave. I argue that capital market, operations, commercialization, and product strategy does not rest in finance. In my experience in corporate finance, finance is tax strategy, forecasting, internal audit, treasury, accounts receivable/payable, payroll/expenses, and reporting. I had a seat in the room (but not at the table) and the business leaders never sought strategy from finance and was often deliberately kept in the dark about business decisions. That is all I am saying. Of course given everything else, I could see others responsibilites were inappropriately assigned to Randall. I believe the problems have left.
