Not sure what you mean by "independent data" but I can tell you trammel showed me the process at the Santa Monica office and it was very impressive. It did everything he said it would. Now this was not the android app, but something on his computer with a lot of sliders and buttons.
There is a lot of info, including testimonial videos to support this too on their site. Looks like a lot of the google reviews are good as well for the app.
