Peeps got screwed by Verizon leading into the Verizon/FTR deal. Clearly, for anyone that can read and comprehend what they read , FTR is going above and beyond to assist customers affected by hurricane Matthew. Has absolutely nothing to do with charity and everything to do with customers/customer satisfaction and customer service.

reread about what lengths FTR is going to to assist customers in these areas.
